Sports Medicine I

Sports Medicine I is four our entry level  athletic trainer students. This course focuses on the basics of Athletic Trianing.

Our Athletic Trainer Program

Athletic Training Students work with all athletic teams each level of UIL athletic competition. We provide basic First Aid, Sports Medicine/Athletic Training services,  treatments, and rehabilitation to our athletes. Our Athletic Trainer Students also attend all homes games, practices, and scrimmages. Much of our work is after school and Saturdays, with some over the holidays.

Our program curriculum is divided into three sections, each section is directly determined by your level of experience in our program. Our curriculum covers subjects regarding the sports medicine team, injury evaluation, on field emergencies, anatomy, rehabilitation, and injury documentation.

Athletic Trainer Students at College Park understand that there is a great time commitment for the program, and they understand that Athletic Trainer Students are subject to UIL rules on eligibility.

Athletic Training I & II

Athletic Training I & II are upper level students who have been in the program for at least 2 years. These  courses focus on injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation.

Sports Medicine II

Sports Medicine II is for our second year students, it focuses on anatomy & physiology, as well as injury recognition and early evaluation.
